Some of the bathrooms here charge a small fee. As we all know, I have a tiny bladder and I needed to go! After digging through my wallet, I looked at my new bride and uttered a statement I thought I would never make....."I'm going to need some change for the Toilet Lady. I don't have anything smaller than a hundred thousand."
In reality, I'm holding the equivalent of only $30 (roughly). But look closely at the bills!
Our dinner tonight was 417,000 Dong, which after tip and a 3% credit card processing fee ended up being about $24. Between us, we had three beers, a lemonade, an appetizer, and two sizable entrees. It was pretty good, although dog meat is a little more chewy than I was expecting.
